Spyro's New Home

My name is Corey Greider (otherwise known as Mr. G). I teach 2nd Grade at Orchard View Elementary in Middlebury, Indiana. I have a Chinese Water Dragon as my class pet. He has outgrown his terrarium, and is in need of a new one to move around in!
This is a photo of his old terrarium (minus a large waterfall). This one is 4 feet x 2 feet x 18 inches. It also has a large sink at the bottom for him to swim. I am currently having the new terrarium built, and it will be much, much larger for him (over 3 times the space). All the money raised will go to funding his new terrarium.
I would like to have the funds by Oct. 31st. This will make a great gift to the class!
This means a lot to me to have a large environment for my class pet, because I use him in a lot of my daily routines in the classroom. The students are responsible for helping take care of him, and take great pride in doing so.
It makes my students more responsible, because they all want to take great care of Spyro. They also get to study him and his behaviors (even his crazy ones!) They have already learned a lot about him, and a better environment will help them learn so much more!
If you donate to this fund, not only will I be forever thankful, but Spyro and generations of students to come will also be eternally grateful!
