I am originally from Dallas and Austin Texas. I am transplant to Los Angeles (1 year in LA). I came in hopes to further my acting career. While in Austin, I worked as a Missionary. I got to serve young college students in counseling and community development. One of my favorite opportunities was helping students find their innate gifting and talents through a program we developed in order to catapult them into their God-given career and purpose.
I've been acting for about 15 years and I felt that it was time to make the big move to further my career. I absolutely love acting, poetry, and salsa dancing. My biggest dream is to write and act in drama to show the pain and joy of life's trials.
I am a growing Entrepreneur who loves history, humanity, and travel. I worked as an Activist in Civil Rights in Texas for a year and hope to find a chapter in Los Angeles. I believe that every human should have the right to live and to pursue happiness on an even playing field.
I am attending the Landmark Forum, which is the Mecca for Psychological and Personal Development. I have always been interested in finding ways to find healing through trauma and childhood experiences. I was raised in an alcoholic family and became independent at the age of 14. I would then spend some of adolescence in a semi-orphan like scenario. My mother moved away to marry after divorcing my alcholic father, which left me in comprimised living situations. I have done okay for myself with the hand life has dealt. However, I want to soar to my greatest potential. I know the false beliefs that were developed to protect me are keeping me in fear. I truly want nothing more than to continue to search for avenues of growth.
The landmark forum is remarkable for helping individuals with issues across the board. I am $200 short of my goal of $625. My goal is $500 in order to help me with the cost of rent, since I won't be able to work during the forum. The forum is for 4 days running from 9am-10pm. I would love to meet my goal by Saturday, September 25th.
I know that the forum will serve as the impetus for my pyschological and professional development. I am a human that wants to see the world healed little by little by all of the sections each of us are called to serve in with our gifts.
