Harvest for the Homeless
Donation protected
Walker County Coalition for the Homeless serves those Walker County citizens who have been left homeless by loss of jobs, domestic violence, injury or illness, incarceration, divorce or relationship change, and other circumstances creating housing instability.
Over the past year, the numbers of those needing housing assistance has grown by about 20%. By the end of the year we will have served about 1100 people.
WCCH has been serving the homeless since 2008. We are funded by the Walker Area Community Foundation, the Reed Family Advised Fund, Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, the Daniel Foundation, and multiple corporate grants and individual donations. Last year you, our Facebook friends helped us to raise just over $50,000 to carry us through the winter season when shelter is critical.
Please give a generous donation and post this on your page. Invite everyone you know to help us end homelessness in Walker County.
May God Bless you for your concern for others!
