Samson’s Vet Bill
Donation protected
I never thought it make one of these, but I am realizing that I am in need of any help I can get at this point.
My amazing kitty Samson is sick. After taking him to the vet last week we were told that he had metabolized almost all of his body fat (he now weighs 9lbs as opposed to his normal 13lbs) and as a result he also started metabolizing his red blood cells, leaving him with virtually none. Because of this he has a fatty liver, which is not good. We were told that the only chance Samson has to survive (which was barely a 50/50 chance) is to have a feeding tube put into his neck. This requires me to be with him around the clock, so unfortunately I can’t work right now. Sam requires food through the tube every couple of hours, as well as water and medicine. Samson is on 9 different medications to treat all of the issues that are happening with him. As a result, Samson has a vet bill of $2,000 as of right now, not including the next blood work he will need and having the tube removed.
I dont expect to recieve much money through through this but it is truly my last option. I want to continue giving Samson everything he needs in order to get better, but money is tight. Even a dollar could make a huge difference.
Thanks for reading. ❤️
