Our family consists of 7 humans and 3 rescue dogs.
Less than 3 weeks after saying good bye to our oldest dog we found out that Teddy had basically 'blown out' his left hind knee and needed surgery. At that time we were told he has a high (50-60%) chance of having the same injury occur in his right knee.
While the operation went well (09/20) it turns out his problem was more than the damaged ACL, the doctor found a lot of arthritis, so much that it was pushing his kneecap out of place. Unfortunately Teddy now stands a very strong chance of also needing surgeries in his right knee, hips, or elbows because of the arthritis.
Teddy is an incredibly laid-back dog who loves everyone he meets, human and animal. All donations will go towards giving this young dog the pain free mobility he very much deserves.
