Support Esther's Medical Fund

In early September, Esther – a bright, active, pediatric nurse at UNMH – was diagnosed with a rare form of Ewing’s Sarcoma cancer. As shocking as this news was, even more so, was how quickly and aggressively her treatment needed to begin. Esther is currently undergoing 3-4 months of aggressive chemotherapy and resection treatment.

Prior to her diagnosis, Esther dedicated herself to her career as a pediatric nurse, serving and caring for our children. She has a selfless, caring spirit and a devotion to service through caring for others in need. She has volunteered for medical mission trips around the world, using her education in nursing to reach children in poverty-stricken areas, and giving them access to healthcare. However, Esther has been unable to continue working because her cancer treatment is limiting her mobility and her energy.

As a young nurse early in her career, the cost of treatment alone is overwhelming, not to mention the loss of doing what she loves. We have created this GoFundMe to raise money for Esther to help her shoulder the financial burden of her battle against cancer, so that she is not fighting the fight against cancer alone.
