Fund for displaced people in Konso

We the, concerned individuals of Konso, residing outside Ethiopia are appealing to the international community, individuals, organizations and right groups for humanitarian assistance for the over 25, 000 internally displaced people (IDP) of Konso in Southern Ethiopia. Just last week alone, around 50 civilians were killed and over 100 people were unaccounted for. Over 25,000 people were displaced when their villages recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2009 were burned to the ground (see attached pictures). This number is expected to grow because regime forces are still shooting at unarmed civilians and burning villages.
Currently, thousands left their villages and flee to the bushes and to neighboring region Oromia, Teltelle. Some of them are living inside churches in Karat town.
We will work with Konso Development Association (KDA) nonprofit organization (NGO) that works for better future of Konso people) to reach to the victims directly.
We need the fund immediately since the victims are running out of basic necessities like food and clothing. The incident happened on September 13, 2016.

ለኮንሶ ተፈናቃዮች የገቢ ማሰባሰቢያ ጥሪ !
በአሁኑ ወቅት በተለያዩ የዜና አውታሮችና ሶሻል ሚዲያዎች እንዳያችሁት በኮንሶ የሠፈረው የደቡብ ልዩ ሀይል እና የሀገር መከላከያ ሠራዊት ባደረሰው ጥቃትና ግጭት ከ25000 በላይ የሚሆኑ የኮንሶ አባወራዎች ከቤት ንብረታቸው ተፈናቅለው ወደ አጎራባች ክልሎች ና በሃይማኖት ተቋማት ግቢዎች ውስጥ እንዲሁም ወደ ተለያዩ የኮንሶ ቀበለያት በመሰደድ በጥገኝነት እየኖሩ ይገኛሉ፡፡ በአሁን ሰዓት በከፍተኛ ሁኔታ የወገን እረዳታን ይሻሉ፡
ስለሆነም በመላው ዓለም የሚትገኙ የኮንሶ ተወላጆች እንዲሁም ውድ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ፤
በሀገር ውስጥ(ኢትዮጵያ) ላላችሁ
በኮንሶ ምሁራን(የዩኒቨረሲቲ መምህራን) አማካኝነት ኮሚቴ በፍጥነት ተቋቁሞ እርዳታዉን እንድያስተባብሩና ከኮንሶ ልማት ማህበር ጋር በመተባበር እረዳታዉን ለተፈናቃዩ ህዝብ እንዲደርስ ይደረጋል፡፡በውጪ ሀገር ለሚትገኙ
· የቪዛና ክረድት ካርድ በመጠቀም እርዳታዉን መለገስ ትችላላችሁ፡፡
ለምታሳዩት ወንድማዊ ትብብር በኮንሶ ህዝብ ስም ታላቅ ምስጋናና ክብር ይድረሳችሁ!!
