Help save Trixie!

Donation protected
Trixie was one of the 700 dogs, rescued by ASPCA, from Raeford, North Carolina, in February of 2016.  She lived under deplorable and cruel conditions in a so called rescue shelter!   She was adopted in March, 2016, by a family in Garner, North Carolina.  Due to a change of employment and travel obligations, they could not keep her.  One of the animal loving families in the neighberhood, who already has three dogs and a cat, could not bear to see her end up in a shelter after going through so much in her young life.  They took her in and shortly after noticed she was limping, unable to play with the other dogs, or go up and down stairs.  Trixie was seen by Dr. Regina Sanders of Purr&Bark of Raleigh, NC and after viewing her x-ray, referred Trixie to the Veterinay Surgical Referral Practice (VSRP) in Cary, North Carolina. Unfortunatley, she has a torn ACL and needs surgery as soon as possible.  In view of all the vet bills, exams, x-rays, and exams, the family can not afford the additional $3500 for surgery.  They would  greatly appreciate any donations in order to raise the money for her surgery.  She is no longer a depressed or timid dog  because of the love that this family has showered her with.  She knows that she has been saved, she loves her life, and her new family. In particular the company of the other three dogs.  With your help, she can be free from physical pain and live the rest of her life as a well loved and happy dog.  Any amount in excess of $3200 will be donated to Wake County Animal Shelter. + Read More
