Help Us Catch Up Our Mortgage

We need help to save our home.

I did not know about this situation until one week ago today.

This was my grandparents' house. My mother recieved terrible financial advice and took out a mortgage. We are one payment behind and need $1000 to catch up the missed payment and pay the next THIS MONTH.

My mother retired from the police department after 26 years. I had to move back in with her after my ex-husband became abusive. I have applied for jobs and found nothing but a work at home copywriting job. The work is feast or famine.

My mother and I have health problems--high blood pressure, severe arthritis, bad hip, asthma--and I have no insurance. I pay for my asthma medications out of pocket.

If I could, I would cut off the cable, phone, and Internet, but I can't. I'm in a contract. I can't cut out anything else.

We have no family. To pay the mortgage, we will have to go without electricity and water for weeks.

Please help us. Every cent donated will go to the bank. If by some miracle we receive more than $1000, the overage will go into a savings account.
