Ben Cooper's Memory Care Facility

Thank you for visiting this page for Ben Cooper, a beloved friend, entertainer and business leader with his late wife, Pamela.

For the past year Ben has been in a memory care facility in Moreno Valley, CA near his primary caregiver, Craig White. Craig also is the caregiver for his wife, Ben's daughter Kelley, who was hospitalized multiple times in  2016 alone, and is now diagnosed with dementia.   Craig, Kelley and Ben have moved to Memphis to be near Ben’s beloved granddaughter PK .  Craig and Kelley will stay with PK and family, while Ben will be in a care facility nearby.

When Pamela’s health failed, Ben was Pamela's only caregiver for five years until she passed. Sheer fatigue and grief may have impacted his affairs more than any of us knew. While Ben and Pamela successfully built a legacy in preparation for retirement,  unfortunately, the IRS has been diverting much of their  business cash flow.  Until this situation is resolved, the few remaining family members are in need of help in covering the moving costs and establishing a small fund to support Ben in a new care facility.

We deeply thank you in advance for whatever you may be able to offer.  If any funds remain after Ben passes, the remainder will be donated to Ben's favorite charities listed below.

- St. Judes Children's Hospital
- The Wounded Warrior Project
- Happy Trails Children's Foundation

Hi, unfortunately the campaign has stalled lately. Craig, Ben's son in law visited 46 facilities before choosing this one he is in as the best care for the cost. If the campaign doesn't pick up I'm not sure how much longer he will be able to stay.

Please get the word out on your social media.

Thanks

Jim and I have so many happy memories of laughing with Ben, especially after surviving the harrowing car race to get him to the BBS to speak in Waterloo! Also touched by his love and devotion to Pamela.
