Wesley Sellers Accident Fund
Donation protected
Late Thursday night (2/25/2016) at approximately 9:45 pm, my Uncle Wesley Sellers was seriously injured in a fiery crash. Wesley's Jeep Cherokee caught fire after he was rear-ended by a drunk driver. Witnesses of the crash described seeing his Jeep burst into a fireball, other witnesses described seeing him getting pulled from his vehicle in flames. Wesley was taken to Valley View Medical Center where he was then flown by helicopter to the burn unit at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
He is currently in very critical condition with 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 62% of his body, from about the waist up. Wesley will have to have surgeries every 2-3 days. Doctors say that if his recovery goes well and he has no complications, such as infections, amputations, etc., then he will have a minimum hospital stay of 4-6 months.
We are asking for support from friends to help our family during this time. My grandmother, Aunts, and My Mother will be making very frequent trips to Las Vegas. We are asking for assistance with bills, transportation, food, lodge as well as help with his children's needs. Because of someone’s selfish decision to drink and drive, my Uncle is now left unable to provide for himself and for his family.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and please continue praying for his recovery.
