Funeral funds for Bentley & Olivia

I never thought I would have to write these words. No one should ever have to. On Saturday, September 3, 2016 my brother, Brendon and his beautiful wife, Esmerelda faced the most beauitful and difficult moment of their lives. Let me tell a little bit of their story...

Brendon and Esmerelda met in San Diego, California while my brother was stationed at the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot. They fell in love, got married, and decided to start a family. Brendon and Esmerelda relocated to Washington in June 2016.

I remember getting the phone call - so excited to be an aunt for the first time! And they were so excited to be parents. A few weeks later, I received another phone call telling me they were having twins!  Although it was shocking news to two young first time parents, they were nothing short of happy and inlove with the thought of TWO babies! Then, about two weeks ago we found out the gender of the twins, a healthy boy and a healthy girl. Bentley Michael Walsh (Michael after Brendon) and Olivia Rose Walsh (Rose after me - what an honor!) We all celebrated the news and our excitemnt on facebook for the world to see.

A few days later, we began the journey down the hardest road our family every traveled together. On August 25th, Esmerelda woke up bleeding. She was taken to the hospital to find out that one of the babies amniotic fluid sacks had a tear in it. Esmerelda was told she would have to stay at the hospital until the babies were born... to make the long - short (and less painful to relive)... Olivia stopped developing due to lack of fluid. The goal was to keep them in until 24-25 weeks so that the lungs of Bentley could develop and he would have  chance at being incubated and surviving. We all hoped, we all prayed, we all asked for prayer and strength to get through those weeks. Esmerelda in her true form, stayed so positive - so inspiring. Brendon stayed the backbone and the guard of his wife's heart. He's my hero.

Esmerelda held on. But her body couldn't. She got an infection and her tempurature rose from 100.2 to 102 in 10 min and immediately the doctors took action, to ensure Esme's safety.

From that point on, Esme endured the most difficult moment any mother to be could face. She had to fight the will to runaway and go against the dotors orders. She would be induced and have to give birth to Bentley & Olivia... knowing they would not survive.

The beauty in that darkest moment was that they got to hold and kiss their children before sending them to God. That moment will live in their hearts for an eternity.

Now they are faced with having to make funeral arrangements instead of enjoying babyshowers. They are troubled with medical expenses and funeral arrangement expenses.

If you can help, please donate.

RIP Olivia and Bentley. Auntie B loves you.
