The Garrett Pope Jr. Memorial Fund

$25,983 of $25,000 goal

Raised by 330 people in 17 months
On August 31st, our 11 year old son Garrett Pope Jr. passed away due to a tragic accident.  Many people have reached out asking how they can help and the outpouring of support has been truly amazing.

Instead of sending flowers, we ask that a charible contribution be made to a cause that will immediatly impact our community and children.

Garrett LOVED to read!  In his honor, we are collecting funds that will be dontated to the Indian Land Elementary and Middle schools to help continue to develop thier reading programs, and stock every classroom with the best in educational reading materials.  We have met with Principle Thorpe, and he agrees that this is a need that the schools and your children will absolutley benefit from.

We thank everyone for thier prayers, kind words, and support.

We've almost reached our goal of $25,000!!! We are so thankful for everyone's generosity in supporting this campaign to help the Indian Land Elementary and Middle Schools reading program in the name of Garrett Jr. Stacy and I know that he would be blown away and excited with all of the good that these funds will generate.

This money will go to stocking each classroom's library with updated reading materials, In addition, we are working with the schools to create a section of the the library with books from series that Garrett loved. There will be a plaque with "Garrett's Favorites" posted. His friends, brother, and sister will be able to go there and select a book from his reading list.

Stacy and I cannot thank you everyone enough for helping us make this a reality.
