W.A.C. Cares Homework Club

W.A.C Cares Homework Help is a free program available to Elementary students of Shady Grove and Lower Gwynedd Elementary Schools, as well as 6th grade students of Wissahickon Middle School. Adults, with current clearances, assist students with homework, studying, study skills, reading fluency, and mathematics. Students have access to educational online websites, brain teaser games along with team building exercises. Physical activity and play are incorporated into each session.
Since W.A.C. Cares Homework Help is a free program, supplies and resources are needed to ensure the success of our students. All donations made will go 100% to purchase supplies for the students. Some items covered by donations include: pencils, crayons, books, computer paper, K'nex, hand sanitzer, paper towels, board games, and small athletic equipment.
The program runs the length of the academic school year starting on September 20th, 2016. Please start donating as soon as you're done reading this. We need your help now. We firmly believe in the idea that it takes a village to raise a child. Please be part of our village. We are very grateful for all of your help and support.
