In loving memory of Jen Zubalake

We are all employees of a family owned business in Stillwater, MN. With less than 20 full time employees we consider our work family to be our very own family. One of our brothers lost his wife to cancer today at the very young age of 34. Nick has endured more grief than most the past 6 years while he had to bury his father in 2010 and 2 short years later bury his mother. Nick didn't skip a beat and began to raise his younger brother, supporting him in all of his sports and just got him settled into Minnesota State University, Mankato as he begins his freshman year. Jen and Nick met in 2003 and were happily married in 2014. After they got married they were eager to start a family. While trying so very hard to conceive they were given the devastating news of Jen's rare form of cancer just over a year after being married. Nick believed Jen would fight and win this battle against cancer. He never gave up hope and managed her healthcare plan with class. A post just 2 nights ago, on September 1, 2016 read: "Getting ready for bed. I give Jen a kiss and ask if I'm going to see you tomorrow. She always looks at me with a smile and says YES!!! As she starts to sleep more. I sleep less. I never know what I'm going to wake up to the next day. So I enjoy and cherish every second we have together." We at Heritage are asking for all that are able to give anything to this generous, outgoing, loving man who has lost too much too soon. We are asking for funds to cover all of the enormous expenses funerals, burials and obituaries cost. We and our grieving brother will all be very thankful for your generosity. Please don't hesitate to donate, we want to give Jen, a kind, beautiful woman a celebration of life well deserved. Rest in Peace sweet Jen, we know you will be watching over Nick and his family forever.
