Baby Hunter Lee Noblett was born Wednesday, July 6th a healthy 8 lbs, 6ozs and 20.75". All was going great with the new mom and dad and baby as they got to know each other through quality time and late night feelings. When he went in for his 2 month well visit, Megan had noticed one of his butt cheeks was harder than the other, so she mentioned it to the Pediatrician. Immediately after that appointment, they were sent to a specialist at CHKD to have an MRI. That is when they found a tumor the size of an orange inside of his little body going from back to front affecting a main artery, spine and his bladder. As of Friday (today, 9/2) we know that they are being transported to a hospital in DC where he will have a major surgery by a team of specialists to remove the mass. Team will be made up of an Oncolologisy, Urologist, Neurologist, Neuro-Surgeon, and Pediatric Specialist. They aren't saying whether the tumor is benign or malignant. Megan and Matt along with their families are praying hard and believing for miracles. So here is what we are asking: Along with prayer, they will need financial assistance. Megan will be unable to go back to work to stay and take care of Baby Hunter during his recovery time and we all know hospital bills weigh heavily on the family budget.
