Indie Film Project "Silent Scars"

Donation protected

Well, where do I begin....my name is Alessandro Molluzzo. Ever since I watched "Face/Off" and "Hard Boiled" by John Woo, I realized I had huge aspirations of making amazing films for the rest of my life.
I wrote my very first screen play when I was going to the eighth grade, which at that time, I believed it could match up to any John Woo film :-)
It has been over 10 years that I have been working on this very special project, "Silent Scars". This particular project was conceived while watching an interracial romance film, which I felt was missing a lack of entertainment. (Being that I was in an interracial relationship at the time.) Fed up in the middle of the film, I literally got up from my seat and walked out of the movie theater. My other half stopped me and asked me why I had walked out of the film, and I stated, "I'm just tired of watching crappy movies!" For which she replied, "If these films are not entertaining, why don't you make your own films?!" That's when I realized it was time to put up or shut up.
I have written the script from beginning to end, and have edited it from beginning to end multiple times. Numerous editors have worked on it, additionally, several producers have reviewed it. After handing the script out to actors and producers, all the way from California to New York, multiple talented individuals have praised this project and told me that this film can come into fruition if I am able to reach the $100,000 mark.
This funding will go towards the full film production of this project. It is to compensate the talented actors and hard-working crew during pre-production, actual shooting, and post-production.
Our main goal is when we reach our fund mark, we will commence pre-production at the earliest time possible.
I guess, that's it! Please check me out in social media, like Facebook, where you can view images of the photo shoot of the script cover as well as behind the scenes of the shoot.
Thank you all for taking the time to read my story and perhaps you can join me in the making of this great film. Please feel free to share with your friends, family, and all!
I will leave you all with a synopsis of the screen play:

Nine- year-old Rich Firstino wakes up in the middle of a home invasion to witness his father being brutally murdered. Scarred by violence, Rich makes a decision that will haunt him for the rest of his life. Associating the killer with the color of his skin, Rich is reborn as a skinhead seeking retribution against the race that killed his father.

After spending years as a foot soldier, Rich begins to reconsider his devotion to the gang after losing his mother to Cancer and seeks out alternatives. Millie, a black store-owner, offers him a job he cant refuse. Rich struggles with his feisty new counterpart but slowly begins to recognize the person beneath her skin.

As Rich and Millie develop feelings for each other, Officer Ferrara, his father's ex-partner, reveals information that will alter their destiny forever.

Alessandro
