Support Veni Noya

We are members of Northern Colorado Dreamers United (NCDU) a youth led collective of dreamers and citizens fighting for equal rights and opportunities for our communities and students.  Today we are facing a new battle, our great friend and leader in NCDU, Veni Noya, has recently been hospitalized due to a life threatening infection that has spread through the lower region of his body.  As a result of the infection Veni has had to undergo a very serious surgery that saved his life, but unfortunately has led to circumstances that will impact him and his health in a significant manner.  Veni was born with Spina Bifida and has constantly fought with the conditions surrounding his health while also fighting for the well being of others through his community work and involvement.  On top of his health complications Veni has also had to deal with being undocumented, which prohibits him from receiving assistance to pay for his medical and personal needs in this difficult time. As friends, family, and community members who have been positively impacted by Veni’s commitment to helping others, we are seeking assistance from those that Veni has so unselfishly fought for throughout his life to step up and help him in his time of need.  All proceeds collected will go directly to Veni’s account for his medical and personal expenses.  It is our turn to fight for our friend and leader.  Even in these moments Veni has never asked for help but has always asked how can I help.  So please help us, please help Veni.  He needs his community now to continue to fight.  Bring Veni home.


Somos miembros de Northern Colorado Dreamers United (NCDU) un grupo de jóvenes soñadores y ciudadanos que luchan por la igualdad de derechos y oportunidades para nuestras comunidades y estudiantes. Hoy en día nos enfrentamos a una nueva batalla, nuestro gran amigo y líder en NCDU, Veni Noya, recientemente ha sido hospitalizado debido a una infección que amenaza a su vida y que se ha extendido por la región inferior de su cuerpo. Como resultado de la infección Veni ha tenido que someterse a una cirugía la cual salvó su vida, pero que desgraciadamente ha llevado circunstancias que afectarán a su vida y la salud de una manera significativa. Veni nació con espina bífida y ha luchado constantemente con las condiciones que rodean a su salud y al mismo tiempo luchar por el bienestar de los demás a través de su trabajo comunitario. Aparte de sus complicaciones de salud Veni también ha tenido que batallar con ser indocumentado, que le prohíbe recibir asistencia para pagar sus necesidades médicas y personales en este momento difícil. Como amigos, familiares y miembros de la comunidad que han sido afectados positivamente por el compromiso de Veni a ayudar a los demás, estamos buscando la ayuda de la gente por los cual que Veni ha luchado por toda su vida para ayudarlo en su momento de necesidad. Es nuestro turno de luchar por nuestro amigo y líder. Incluso en estos momentos Veni nunca ha pedido ayuda, pero siempre se ha preguntado cómo puedo ayudar. Así que por favor nos ayude, por favor ayuda Veni. Necesita a su comunidad ahora para continuar la lucha.
