My brother in law and sister

As all of you know, family is extremely important to me. I need your help during these hard times for my sister and brother in law. My family will be doing their best on keeping the stress off them, taking care of all their expenses, as well as trying to be the back bone for my sister to rely on.
Around Thanksgiving 2016 Scott was having a hard time eating solid foods. He would eat and then he would just throw it back up. It didn’t matter how much he ate, or how little he ate. Nothing was staying down. This went on for months.
Finally, on February 23,2017 Scott went to the ER to get checked out. They did X-rays, ran some blood tests, and wouldn’t you know, everything came back fine. He was told to follow up with a GI doctor. Which he did, serval months later.
Scott has stopped eating solid foods now for several months. And has been on a liquid diet. Drinking as much protein as he can. But even that is becoming a challenge.

On June 15th 2017, the day before Scott’s birthday, their life was thrown a curve ball. Doctor weighed Scott and he had lost about 75 pounds. They decided to do a procedure and a biopsy. It was confirmed on June 19th 2017 that scott has Esophageal Cancer, he's only 48 years old, has a wife, 3 boys and a daughter.
Scott has had to go through some more testing. To figure out the location of the cancer, how big it is, if it’s spread, all that not so much fun stuff that comes with cancer.
On July 11th my sister and Scott went in for another appointment. They weighed Scott again and he was down about another 15 pounds. Scott’s Cancer is in the mid to lower part of his Esophagus, top of his stomach, and there are some lymph-nodes around the area that are mildly affected. He has Stage 3 Disease.
He starts Chemo on July 25th and will most likely start Radiation that same week.
He will have 1 day of Chemo, and 5 days of Radiation. While he is going through the treatments, Scott will be out of work. As the Oncologist has recommended. He feels, that Scott will be to weak to work, and will require several days of possible hydration to keep him from becoming dehydrated. Scott is also facing a possibility of having to get a feeding tube. Should his weight loss continue.
My sister will also be unable to not work as much. As she will be taking her husband to all of his treatments, his doctor appts, and to be by his side supporting him. Helping him, as he fights this long battle.
I am asking each and every single one of you to PLEASE help. Any dollar amount will go far. They have rent, car payment, food , bills, etc that still need to get paid. Along with any medical expenses that should arise.
