Rebuilding Lives!!

Donation protected
Here at Recovery Connections, www.joseph-recoveryconnections.blogspot.com  my wife and I for the past decade have tried to help those struggling with addiction rebuild their lives.  We realize as many others do that it takes more than just a phone number or a phone call.  Those struggling need more than that.  Some complete 30 or 60 days and then are cut loose with no assistance, guidance, financing or hope. Often 30 or 60 days is NOT enough time.  Can you imagine if you broke your arm and get a cast then a doctor or insurance company say's take it off! We're done! Your arm is still not healed. It's now crooked and bent and never will be right again just because they took the cast off to early.  When you give someone who has been abusing chemical substances for years only 30 days to change those habits they are doing just that.  TAKING THE CAST OFF WAY TO EARLY!  This is an epidemic and we need to do more. So we have changed the focus of our mission and have redirected our thoughts and efforts in raising as much money as possible.  To not only extend treatment but put together something for those who need care during and after.  Let's explain during.  An addicted father or mother wind up in treatment and the household is left short 1 income. The children didn't ask for this.  Why should they have to suffer? After Care is providing funds to go into a good recovery house where they will be taught life skills, job skills and how to reintegrate back into society and become a responsible productive part of the community and their families.  Here at Recovery Connections, we are going to do more! But we are going to need your help!  Our focus is going to be treatment/extended treatment,  help for families while in treatment and life rebuilding after treatment. Our goal is $1,000,000.00!  With your help, we can get it done!  Please consider a donation today.  Let's fight the good fight!
