A Car For Tanner

This is my son. He was walking 8 miles to and from work until an angel in Highway Patrol officer Swenson stepped up and helped my son. At that time I was able to work and when Tanner needed to be at work I was already working and his grandparents live out of town and couldn't help us out. Officer Swenson and other officers got my son a refurbished bike. Shortly after getting it the bike broke. Another kind and caring soul from Scheels in Sioux Falls donated a brand new bike to my son. As everyone knows SD has some pretty bad winters so the bike isn't going to help him in the next few months. I would love to be able to help my son more but after taking care of them as a single mom for over 5 years and doing all I could for them it was a very hard pill to swallow when my Drs told me that in order for my body to heal I needed to stop working for the time being. I am used to taking care of everyone not having someone take care of me. When your 19 year old son looks you in the eye and says don't worry mom I got this is still brings tears to my eyes. I never ask Tanner for anything and he just offers all he can. My son is truly amazing. I am one proud mom not just today but everyday! We are setting up this go fund me account to help him get a car and to possibly help with household bills to give my son a break. Thank you for all your help and support. This kid is pretty amazing!!!
