Brandon's Medical Fund

This is Brandon Folk, a 20 year old EMT who is scheduled to begin Paramedic School and Firefighter 1&2 classes this summer. Brandon works part time as an EMT for Abbott Ambulance and volunteers as a Reserve with the Metro West Fire District.
Brandon was assaulted on a parking lot and found face down unconscious between parked cars on April 24th. Medical reports indicate Brandon had no offensive nor defensive wounds, leading doctors to believe the first strike took him by surprise and his other injuries occured while he was unconscious. The injuries sustained in the assault are extensive, requiring surgeries and prohibiting him from maintaining his normal work schedule. His injuries include a broken jaw, nose, orbital bones, severe concussion, as well as multiple facial fractures, and loss of teeth. His first surgery took place April 27, 2016 and the doctors said it was much worse than they originally suspected using the word pulverized to describe the bones in his face.
Doctors believe that the insurance company will deny some of the surgical claims due to them being considered "cosmetic" leaving Brandon with thousands of dollars in medical bills. Please make a donation to help Brandon pay for the surgeries that are needed just to get back to a normal quality of life.
