Devin Pollard's Family Fund

Tragically, on Friday morning, we lost our friend, Devin Pollard.  His life style did not predict this tragic event. He was a reliable, hard working, family man and was only 32 years old.  Devin was a devoted father to his five young children and husband to Niomi.  He died suddenly while at home with his wife and kids. He got out of bed around 4am, as he always did, to go to work as a project manager for a large construction company in Santa Monica; however, inexplicably he passed out on the floor, and never regained consciousness.   The funeral services are pending the completion of an autopsy.

Devin had no life insurance, and even though both he and Niomi worked hard to support their family, they did not have a lot of money.  Devin was committed to creating a different life for his children than he had growing up in South Central Los Angeles.  He had made great strides and had moved his family from there 3 years ago.  Our hope is that we can help support his dream of having his children grow up in a community that is more safe.

 We will miss him terribly, as will his family.  He was loved by all that knew him.
