Disabled Grandma - accessible home

Donation protected
Jan is a lifelong, fiercely independent lady who has quietly persevered  through every blow life has dealt her over her 74 years.
She has always put others before herself.
She was a garment industry worker until her factory closed, then cleaned hotel rooms, until her rheumatoid arthritis became too debilitating to continue working. She has been subsisting on her less than $900/mo social security allowance for ten years, and  after basic necessities, does not have a penny left at the end of each month.
She has had  use a cane to walk for years and even now resists the idea of getting a wheelchair or scooter, even though she can barely walk from her living room to her kitchen.
She needs handicap accessibility modifications done to her home, such as a ramp to her front door, widened doorways, lowered sinks and cabinets, a walk-in/roll-in bathtub, handrails and grabs throughout the house. Please consider a small donation to help out this selfless lady who would never ask anything of anyone. We would really like to have these modifications done before winter, as winter is especially hard on her, and we are trying to do weatherization projects to her home right now.
