Fred's TeePee Home Destroyed
Donation protected
This is the inside of my home, my teepee. As my video shows, damage is bad. It is beyond repair.
This video of the outside says it all. Monster hail.
I'm Fred and my home is my teepee, lodge. I am 58 years old. The damage to my home was devastating. No electricity and no running water is, for me, a good choice. No roof over my head is depressing beyond words.
I live the life of a mountain man. My family says I was born in the wrong century. This is my home, my house. As shown in my videos, my lodge has come to the end of it's life. Colorado gets cold and lots of snow, so it can't be used anymore.
This is a winter shot of how snow insulates us (me and the dogs).
This is my version of fast food.
The replacement is coming from Colorado Yurt Company http://coloradoyurt.com/ . Getting the basic cover, poles and liner (16 foot) is $1666.00 and $100.00 for shipping (me going to get it). Plus tax and shipping for poles which I'm not sure yet. I will still need to paint and assemble it.

**This is Fred's sister. If he gets the flame retardant material, it will be
$884.00 for the tipi cover
$437.00 for the liner
$510.00 for poles out of the Colorado yard instead of the Montana yard.
**$1831.00** without tax and shipping
While he is truly grateful for any help toward just the basics, I would feel much better if his residence were flame retardent as he heats and cooks by open flame inside.

Winter will be here soon according to the Farmers Almanac (any rain, chill and snow can be miserable):

I would love to have this happen before the end of September if possible. Thank you to everyone that may donate to my new home teepee lodge!
