help save Historic Van Wert Church

This historic church build in circa 1846 is in need of extensive restoration projects. Since 2005 a concerned group of local citizens have taken on the project and are in need of more financial assistance to continue the restoration of this historic church and cemetery. This church was the beginning of Rev. Sam P. Jones' ministry. The cemetery is one of the earliest burrial sites in Northwest Georgia.
