This is a page created by the girls of Delta Delta Delta, Beta Psi chapter in an effort to aid the family of sister and friend, Michelle Miltner. On April 5, 2013, life for the Miltner's changed drastically when a team of top cardiac surgeons at Massachusetts General Hospital deemed loving father, husband and United States veteran, Terry Miltner, a rightful candidate for a heart transplant.
After being diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2007, Terry's condition has worsened. Now, he has another chance at life after being placed on the heart transplant waiting list with a status of 1A. Although this means he is at the top of the list, because his condition is the most urgent, the doctors have predicted that it will be 3-6 months before a heart becomes available. Until then, he will remain in the critical care unit of MGH, hours away from his home and family in Burnt Hills, NY.
This situation has placed an immense amount of emotional and financial stress on the Miltner's, and as a sisterhod we strive to assist their family in any way we can. Particularly, we aim to raise money to lighten the financial strain of Terry's medical bills and medication costs. What we ask for most of all is your prayers for Terry and of course any donation is appreciated more than you will ever know!
