We are asking for your help with aleviating the burden of some of the medical expenses associated with Logan Semien's extended hospital stay.
Logan Semien is an incredible 18 year old young man from Beaumont, TX. Raised by an amazing single mother, Logan is a recent honor graduate from West Brook Sr. High School, Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout, 2016 Academic All American athlete, LDS Seminary graduate, future Brigham Young University student and recently called missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Logan was preparing to report for his two years of voluntary missionary service when he began to experience painful symptoms which, unbeknownst to him and his family at the time, were associated with a very rare chronic disease. Logan traveled to Houston with his mother to be seen by his specialist and was immediately admitted to Hermann Memorial Texas Medical Center where he is currently being treated for very serious complications due to that illness.
This exceptional young man has devoted his young life to serving others and now he needs your help. Due to the severity of Logan’s condition, he is in for a long difficult battle, but he is a fighter. Although his mother has health insurance, Logan’s medical expenses will be astronomical. The outpouring of love and prayers for Logan and his family has been overwhelming and so many have asked what they can do to help. We’ve started this page in the hopes of raising money for Logan and his family to help offset any costs that they may face in this long battle.
Logan and his family will continually need all of the positive thoughts, faith, prayers and support possible as they venture into this difficult battle.
