I, Elly Hagen, from the Lockport Pride 18u Softball team and Lockport Township High School, have been selected to participate in the Australian Friendship Series softball tournament with American International Sports Teams. Players from the USA will join together to compete internationally. This experience will give me the opportunity to explore a new culture while also learning valuable life lessons through personal experiences.  I will also be able to improve my skills on the field of play as well as having a better understanding of the world around me.

Our team will be finalized this November and we will start to meet each other through social media until we leave the states on June 29, 2017 for Australia.   During our stay we will be playing in Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

I have the opportunity to represent the USA and gain an educational experience of a lifetime.   We will have the chance to meet people from all around the world and establish lasting friendships with them.  

In order for this trip to be a success I have to raise $4,895.00 to cover my portion of the team’s expenses. Any donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to my tour cost.

American International Sports Teams would also like to thank everyone for their contributions. We’ll do our best to show good sportsmanship and represent the USA with class.
