FLOOD RECOVERY FOR THE SCHOONMAKERS

Allison and Chad Schoonmaker and their sweet baby boy are some of the dearest people to Vernon and me. The best of the best at friendship and life. I honestly can't imagine what my life would be like with out them. 

During the recent flooding in Southern Louisiana they lost almost all of their possessions. Flood waters came into their home, causing extreme damage.
In the picture on this page they are standing in front of all their ruined belongings piled up on the curb. They and so many of their friends (who have become like family to us) are in need!

They will need to get a new car and essentially replace all of their belongings. It will be like starting over as they rebulid their home and replace all of their appliances and furnishings. They, like most everyone in their area, were without flood insurance as they do NOT live in a flood zone. The devastation around them is enormous. The need is very great.
