If you've ever met Pat, you know what an amazing, inspirational man he is. And if he's ever met you, even just briefly, you will forever be his friend. He will always remember you, your children, your story, your life! He will suprise you by asking about your family, your latest achievements, your work. You see Pat never forgets anyone he's ever met, and he has the amazing ability to make everyone around him feel special, and important and loved. Pat has been my mentor for years, and I would bet many many more people could say that same thing. He's always everyone's biggest fan, Coach and cheerleader! Now it's time for all of us to return the favor! Pat was recently diagnosed with Kidney cancer. After surgery where one of his kidneys was removed his diagnosis was updated to stage 4 renal carcinoma. A scary diagnosis to be sure, but in our last phone convo it was Pat once again being positive, gratefull and full of love for life! Vowing to fight as hard as he can, and do whatever his wonderful doctors and nurses tell him to to beat this! This may include chemo, more surgery and even traveling outside of the US for some of his treatments. His attitude is incredibly positive, joking about the "silver linings of cancer", laughing and recounting stories even through his pain.
