Bob Youngquist Memorial Fund

Donation protected
The Maplewood Men's Club lost a very dear long time member and friend Bob Youngquist, on Monday August 15th.  We will all miss his wonderful smile, great personality and the joy of listening to his stories that he was always willing to share.

The Maplewood Men's Club is hoping to raise a bit of money for Junior Golf in Bobs name.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

Robert S. Youngquist, Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on August 15, 2016. Born on December 8, 1924 in Renton, WA, Bob lived in the area all his life. He graduated from Meridian High School in 1942 and was drafted in 1943 to the U.S. Navy Seabee's in which he served 3 years. In 1946 he married Gilda (Jill). He worked for Leber Farms in Kent and was part owner of Security Concrete in Renton for 17 years. His two passions in life were flying planes & playing golf. He learned to fly in 1958 and was appointed by the FAA as a Designated Pilot Examiner. He issued many licenses to many people. He worked 10 years with Flight Craft on Boeing Field. He became a QB in 1973, and logged over 17,000 hours in flying. Bob started playing golf at the age of 16 and continued to play up to the day before he passed. He had 8 hole-in-ones. Bob was a valued member of the Maplewood Men's Club where he held the position of Secretary Treasurer for 27 years.
