Hello my name is Tavia mother of 25 month old baby Luna, she has just been diagnosed with stage 4 Nuroblastoma which has now spread from the large tumor in her neck to the the bone marrow, the doctors are yet to clarify exactly how far it has spread at this stage we have just started her chemotheropy.
The reason I have come to go fund me as you can imagine this has come as a huge shock to our small family being a single parent with little financial support.
We were already struggling financially. Our only form of income is a single parents payment from the govenment.
I have rental commitments on the goldcoast we havent been able to get back to the apartment as baby Luna has to stay in the hospital, the only way to get home is by train and a few buses one way will take over two hours alone. I cant possibly leave Luna here alone for any amount of time, as I feel no child should be left alone in our condition. She is scheduled for another two years of treatment. We have to relocate to brisbane as close as possible to the hospital as starting Chemotherapy she is vulnerable to any sudden illnesses. Treatments that she is yet to undertake can also have a sudden affect causing leukaemia. You can only imagine how monitored our lives have just become.
This has obviously put our life on hold as I was about to start a diploma at the start of 2017 to better the quality of lives in our future,
All the funds raised on here will go to a new family car so we no longer have the stress of public transport, to get Luna's treatments, and make it to her regular appointments at the Lady Cilento Hospital. The funds will also Contribute to relocate us into closer accommodation and the moving costs to get all our belongins up to our New apartment it will also help with medications that Luna will need over the next two years of ongoing treatments. We also have medications to take home at our expense.
All donations would be greatly appreciated, and improve the quality of our lives over the next coming years.
