Cheyanne Lewis Medical Bills

My name is Dawn and I am the play auntie of Cheyanne. On August 4th, the day after Cheyanne registered for her senior year, she was out with her girlfriends celebrating the end of her summer job as a lifeguard.  The girls were the vicims of a  possible car jacking.   One of the guys pulled out a gun and shot, unfortunately  Cheyanne was hit in the neck with a bullet,  paralyzing her right (dominant) side.  In an attempt to escape, the girl that was driving hit the gas losing control of the car, crashing into a ravine and hitting a tree.   The accident caused Cheyanne to suffer a lacerated  kidney.   She  spent more than a week in the ICU and is now in Rehab. She has to learn everything all over again an the prognosis is still unknown.  Cheyanne is a beautiful spirit who has a strong faith in God, as do her parents and sister.  Her mom has not left her side and when her dad is not at work, he is with her as well.  They do have insurance, but obviously it will not cover all of the treatment she has had or will still need.   Cheyanne is the one who keeps up the spirit of all of those around her, she is sure that God has a plan for her and that she will have to recover to complete it.  The bills are already rolling in though and as one of their good friends, I would like to help.  I hope you will too.  This young lady has an amazing "can do" spirit and is surprising the staff on a daily basis with how hard she works to become independent.  Please help relieve some of the pressure so her parents can focus on her and not the bills.  I and they will be eternally grateful for anything you can contribute.  Thank you is not enough, but it is all I have.  God bless you and God bless Cheyanne.
