Tony's Road to Recovery

For those of you that may know or for those who have yet to find out, my father Tony Masci was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on November 22 2017. He began to experience very bad pains from his hips to his knees. We later learned that, that was due to the lack of oxygen that he was receiving. He was checked into Princess Margaret last Thursday December 7th and will continue to be in the hospital for the next 5-6 weeks. My dad just finished his 5 rounds of aggressive chemo on Friday. We now wait and hope to see how his bone marrow starts to produce and how his body will react to the chemo.
After his 5 weeks in the hospital, our understanding is that the medications needed are quite expensive. Being self-employed and not being physically fit to go back to work immediately, we as his 3 children, Nicholas 22, Carina 18, and Daniel 16. We are concerned for his health and well being, while he is unable to work. We are asking you to help us raise funds so my dad is able to focus on getting healthy without as many worries as possible.
My dad is a self-employed carpenter, father of 3, and a yoga instructor. He is always willing to help others, and expects nothing in return. My name is Carina Masci, I am his daughter. I am here to tell his story, because my dad is a very proud man and would never ask for help, so this is my way to help him through this difficult time.
Many of you know Tony as a strong, powerful and passionate person. Who practiced and taught yoga at least 7 times a week, and also worked morning day and night as a finished carpenter.
