My name is Patrick Wright - my wife and I are happy residents of China Grove in Rowan County, NC.
We are both long-time supporters of law enforcement, especially those Officers & Deputies serving in Rowan County. With current events being what they are our law enforcement personnel are facing an increasingly difficult task....waking up and putting the badge on every day while they are being hunted & attacked on the street.
I've started this campaign to show our COMMUNITY APPRECIATION for the Rowan County Sheriff's Office. Funds will be used to provide a $25 gift card to each sworn deputy of the RCSO. 100% of any excess funds collected will be given directly to the RCSO. The nice part about giving gift cards to our Deputies is that Chick-Fil-A in Salisbury provides law enforcement a 50% discount while in uniform. So a $25 gift card can actually be worth $50 to each officer - that's a whole-lotta-chicken!
My wife and I have had the unfortunate need to call upon Rowan County law enforcement a few times. They were truly the most professional, kind and responsive officers we have ever worked with.
It's important to us that we show our appreciation for our law enforcement here in our own community. They have our backs and we need to show them that we have their backs as well. We're reaching out to our Community to come together as a whole to lift up those men & women working with the Sheriff's Office and to show them how much we appreciate their service to our communities.
