Joan's Cancer Battle

Joan Bell is my mother-in-law.
She has been wrestling with the monster of cancer since she was diagnosed in 2005,
Endometrial Cancer: hysterectomy.
November 2010, Vaginal Cancer: 35 radiation treatments.
2014 the Cancer spread: removsd her bladder, bowel, and other tissues.
She also has tubes in her kidneys that keep getting infected because her kidneys are blocked. She is in a lot of pain, waiting for surgery.
January 2016, Cancer in her lymph nodes in the groin: 6 rounds of chemo.
In July (2016), she was told that radiation could be done now or next year, but that remission is her only hope...and that for her there is no cure.
Joan is truly a kind soul, who's smile cheers everyone she meets. It pains me to see her so drained, physically, emotionally and financially.
She is only able to keep down shakes right now, and has special needs that are expensive.
