In 2011 I applied for a concealed carry permit in the town I live in. I was called in for an interview with the Chief of Police. I felt the interview went well. I was wrong, after waiting patiently I finally had my attorney send him a friendly letter asking to act on my application, finally he did. I received a denial, with no apperant legal reason. So I decided to turn to the legal system myself and with an attorney the journey began.
The journey ended with my case being decided in the Rhode Island Supreme Court in 2015. I owe many thanks to my attorney and unfortunately many dollars as well. I am just a average guy working hard to provide for my family but could not let this go. I fought this battle for all of us that support the 2nd Amendment and gun rights.
