Move date 1.9 We're 1/2 way 2 goal

My mother, Shirley Kern died Nov. 16th, 2016. We have been caring for her for the past 2 years. Now that her will has been filed, we found out that my 16 year old and I have to leave the house in less by anuary 3, 2017. We were sure we would be staying here so we have no money. We have to move.  This is such a crushing blow, because not only have we lost her, we're loosing our home where she was for 20 years. It's like she died again.

UPDATE: Good News! We found an apartment and have been approved to move into an apartment 5 minutes from our current neighborhood and have a move in date by January 3rd.

Also it was brought to my attention that I had $15000 up and not $1500.00 The total cost for security, first months rent and BGE will be about 1800. We are well on our way with $360 to date.  Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas.
