Autumn's Freedom Wig

Donation protected
Hi, Hello, My name is Autumn Clearsky-Seaton. I'm a 17 year old teenage girl, with Alopecia Areata.. well honestly now i'm pretty sure I have Alopecia Universalis. The reason I think that is because i'm completely 100% bald The last time I seen a specialist for alopecia is when I was around five or six and when I was first diagnosed with alopecia areata. I still had some hair then but these days I get happy if theres a little speck of hair on my head and that's only if I look hard enough.

Some people may think having no hair is no big deal right? Well I dont remember having hair in my life. I have seen pictures but its so hard to believe that it was there at one point. I been researching about cures and stuff, but there's none I have tried some things that were suppose to help me grow my hair back but i have had no luck with getting any results. Some of the treatments I have had have even given me allergic reactions and sent me to the emergency room. I went to one doctor and six months later, he emailed my family in what I'm sure was a phishing scam.

While researching online, I found out about this unique hair piece its called The Freedom Wig it cost about $5000.00 for a shoulderblade length wig! The advantages with having this hairpiece is the freedom wig will not dislodge or slide accidently. I will be able to walk out of the house on the windiest of days, go bike riding, swimming or ride in a car with the windows down, without thinking about this hairpiece.

The Freedom Wig has a silicon base so it allows the Wig to feel like a second skin. The hair ends are sealed inside the soft silicon cap and do not come in contact with the scalp which means no more irritation from scratchy caps (the inside of a regular wig)!

According to their website, the Freedom Wig hair feels, behaves. and appears natural, like its the real thing! The money that will be donated will be used for myself to purchase THE FREEDOM WIG. In order for me to begin  the process, I will need to meet and discuss hair options with www.imageevolutionhair.ca to take a mold.

This would mean so much to me because I have been wanting this since I found out about The Freedom Wig. I think it would give me  a lot more courage and self-confidence, and to be honest, maybe even make me feel like every other teen that has hair.  Currently, I need to buy wigs every 3 months, sometimes sooner than that. They always wear out eventually. Even when I"m being super careful and looking after the wigs, they always need to be replaced. Sure, its fun to go from a redhead, to brunette, to blonde, but for once I'd like to be able to throw my hair into a ponytail and walk out the door. The Freedom Wig would give me that... Freedom. I mean, I don't think its wrong to want that.

I am thankful for everyone who is taking the time to read my story and see a part of where im coming from.
