Louisiana Flood Recovery

I am trying to find the correct words to use to explain the devastation that my parents are feeling. But there are not adequate words... My father was a sheriffs deputy, always trying to help those who lost their way find hope and future. My parents built their business for 16 years and this was their ONLY resource for money. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COLLECT FEMA MONEY - because it was their business and not home. Thankfully, people with home damage will have money coming in from FEMA or be able to go back to work.  If you could ask anyone who's a customer of ours, they would tell you all the same... My mother and father are selfless. They have always done their part in helping people when needed, financially and with prayer. They had a donation box on our desk to donate to missions. They literally lost it all. $20,000 or more in state equipment... They lost all of the computers, thousands of inspection stickers, thousands in tools and electronics. And my mother also lost her vehicle in the flood there, too. My father was in tears when we drove by boat to see the damage that was caused on Saturday morning. But he, my husband and I have yet to stop rescuing people and trying to help the hurting in our community. Please, consider blessing them as I don't have a clue how they will be able to provide for the family.
