Help Louisiana with BBQ World

$3,875 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 22 people in 18 months
BBQ World is asking for your help with proceeds to benefit the first responders and victims from the recent floods in South Louisiana. My name is Terry Welch. I'm the owner of BBQ World, a catering company that focuses on special events and fundraising along the Gulf Coast. I've been servicing my community for over 6 years. My team and I have been heartbroken over the recent events and want to help the only way we know how, COOK BBQ! We are asking for any help you are able to provide. We know all too well the effects of natural disasters (Hurricane Katrina) on small communities. We just want to extend a helping hand. The funds will be used for travel expenses (2 hour drive with trucks and trailers), propane, firewood, food, and food preparation. We will depart for our first trip (of many) on August 16th with minimal personal resources and donated items collected so far. We are also willing to deliver any donated items to those affected. Drop off locations for items include Chatterbox Hair Salon and BBQ World Headquarters, which are both located in Long Beach, MS. We want to sincerely thank you and I'm sure the people of Louisiana thank you too. May God bless you for your giving.

Carolyn Withrow,I know for a fact that this is a good gofundme account my husband and 8 year old son was over there this past Saturday helping prepare food. Volunteers come and get the plates and deliver them out into the community. My husband opened 96 cans of vegetables that day. He told me he didn't want to see any more green beans for a vey long time. We personally know Mr.Terry Welch and is a awesome guy and would never do anything to hurt anyone, plus we know a lot of other people who has been going over and donating time or supplies. We all know how it was with Katrina and everyone just needs to do their best to help out a fellow community.

Awesome operation y'all got going on!! I opened one of the huge cans of beans and thought about y'all opening hundreds a day. Sure hope you have enough volunteers. If I lived down there I'd be helping.

Post pictures of the ones you help feed. It will help get more donations and let people know that you are truly helping. I trust you because I love me some Belinda and Michael. Just so many bad gofundme pages since the floods that people are not donating.
