Please help me raise money to support this amazing family with the funds to get through the cost of life, the wait for a heart transplant for their son Nathan and while his mother Lauren goes through treatment for a complicated brain tumour.
My name is Michelle Breau and I am a proud Aunt of an amazing little boy Nathan. Nathan was born on July 13th, 2016 through a cesarean section. Lauren had to have a cesarean section due to an unknown, complicated brain tumour that the doctors found through symptoms she was experiencing about a month before. Doctors still have yet to understand the severity of her tumour but with doctor appointments and hospital stays, I want to be able to give this family the most support through the hardships they are facing.
With their son being just 5 weeks old, the wait for a heart transplant can be a very long wait and without it he has a 1% chance of living. Also, with his mother Lauren waiting on results of a possible cancerous brain tumour, this family needs all the support they can get. With the lengthy hospital stays, endless appointments, the costs of staying at Ronald McDonald house, costs of food and transporation from Hamilton to Toronto but also about Nathan's future that includes long-term monitoring of his heart, health, education and overall future, I don't want them to have the constant worry that the cost of living can bring in this time of their son getting better.
This family needs to focus on getting better. With her husband Eddy being new to Canada, a very sick son and mother, it has been very difficult for this family to be able to support each other in the financial ways families need to in such an emotional time.
