Support the Harper Family

For those of you who know Danny Harper know that he is a vibrant, happy and respectful young man.
Danny is one of the nicest guys we've ever met. He is loved by everyone and always there for anyone in need. Now it's our time to be there for him.

We were recently given the heartbreaking news that Danny has been diagnosed with Ewings Cancer. 

About a year ago he hurt his foot at footy but it seemed to be ok until about 6 months later it started swelling up reaccuringly. He was told it was arthritis about 3 months ago and started treatment for this. When it didn't work the family got a second opinion and this is when they were told the devastating news he had cancer. After lots of tests and a biopsy he was diagnosed with Ewing's Cancer. The tumor had grown so big that it broke his heel bone. He was in so much pain they admitted him to RPA hospital lifehouse where they found it had spread.

Danny started his first chemotherapy on the 11th August for 8 hours a day for 3 days. He will now have a two week break then start this process over again for a total of 6 sessions. He will then get more tests to see if the chemo has worked, if not treatment will continue.

As you can imagine this has turned his family's life upside down. We (his group of friends) feel helpless and want to do something to help and support this wonderful family in this time of need so they can concentrate on being by Danny's side to fight this horrible disease and not have to worry about everyday stresses.

If everyone can contribute a little to this family we can hopefully get enough money to help them just concentrate on getting Danny cancer free.
