Memorial for Leo
Donation protected
On Thursday 11th August 2016 at 3pm on Riddings Community Park somebody beat this beautiful pet to death.
He was strung up to a tree. He had broken ribs and a broken neck, numerous other injuries including a bulging eye and bloody nose and mouth.
Some poor passer by found him and cared for him until Katie could be found.
Leo, aged 3, was a much loved pet to Katie and her boys. Katie is a working single mum struggling to get by like many of us. She has suffered heartache along the way and Leo was a welcome addition to the family to heal broken hearts, I promised her I would help her with the financial cost of a cremation and a memorial box or memory of her choice for Leo.
I want to show her the strength and the good in this community and show solidarity that this will not be tolerated and that we stand by her in her grief.
All pet lovers know that there is no such thing as "just a cat".
I am acting with Katie's permission.
I am just asking for any donations, even a pound, to show we care.
Thank you.
