Ruthie's Flood Disaster

Donation protected
My name is Harriet and I want to tell you about a wonderful person.  My friend Ruthie and I have known each other for over 20 years.  Ruthie and her husband Dwight live a modest life.  They work on the bereavement commity at their church, donate their time to feed the homeless, and are always quick to say "What can I do to help?".  Ruthie has survived breast cancer twice, has rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes.  Dwight recently retired from his job of 40 years and Ruthie retired as a 1st grade teacher after 30 years of dedication.  Because of her love of children, she continues to work one day a week.  Since last Christmas she has had two back surgeries that have left her in terrible pain.  She also sadly lost her brother this year.  Early in the morning last Monday, Ruthie and Dwight's home flooded during the 500 year Houston flood.  They had reluctantly given up their flood insurance in January to save money.  Ruthie is the kindest most generous person I have ever known and is deserving of your help.  They cannot move back into their home until they can afford to put in floors and dry wall.  Thank you in advance for your kindness and support for my friend.  Every little bit helps!!!
