Hello,
My name is Charles Powell and I’m here to ask for your support for my dear friend Summer Plum. On September 1st she will effectively be homeless, and we need your support to find a safe home for her.
Summer has EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), a rare inheritable connective tissue disorder. This disorder has rendered Summer fully disabled and unable to work to support herself. As a result she had to close up a thriving business and begin the long, arduous, and dehumanizing processes of seeking public assistance. Along with the EDS she suffers from a myriad of interrelated medical issues including severe food allergies. These medical issues severely limit the areas in which she is able to live. She must live in an area with reliable public transit and easy access to medical care.
On September 1st she must be out of her ex-Boyfriends home. If she is unable to find assistance we are not sure where she will be able to live. With your help we will be able to find a home for her and her loving therapy cat Zelda. Summer is one of the most warm, thoughtful, and caring people I have ever met. She has worked hard for the advocacy of minority and underrepresented groups, especially those in the disabled community. She urgently needs help, and we would be beyond grateful if you can extend what ever help you could. Thank you so much for your support.
