Jonathan Beck Independence Day!

Donation protected

Two years ago Jon had an accident where he sustained massive head and brain trauma. This has left him confined to a wheelchair with very limited mobility and very limited communication ability. Only being able to raise his left arm to give a thumbs up if he's happy.

A bit about Jon.
Before jons accident he was a hugely active person, he was always on the go, be it climbing mountains, trecking through the wilderness, camping out or running around the rugby pitch.

Jon was also an active soldier with the London Irish Rifles serving a tour in Afghanistan where he was a credit to his unit, a well trained and highly motivated soldier always going above and beyond what was asked of him. No matter how hard the job was, he would get it done!
A true soldier in every sense of the word.

We are trying to raise enough so Jon can buy his own motorised wheelchair giving him the independence and to motivate him in his recovery.
At the moment Jon is solely dependant on others to move him from place to place and being non verbal this is mostly a guess on where he want to go.

Jon having his own chair will allow him to move freely to where he wants to go and not where someone has guessed he wants to be.

Giving him this independence would massively aid Jon on his road to recovery. He has done so well so far and he is only going one way, UP!!

Please help us give Jon his independence back
