Get Erin Moving

Hello! My name is Erin J. Hopkins and I need a power/electric wheelchair. Very, very badly. I have script from my rheumatologist for one, but (for whatever reason) my insurance has denied it. I will appeal, of course, but I've already waited six months just to be told I'm not getting one. I need to be mobile. When my health deteriorated to the point where walking long distances or standing for long times, I knew it was only a matter of time before this would happen but I fought it. Now my knees and hips have paid the price for that stubbornness. I eventually found a used mobile wheelchair to "get me by" until my power chair was approved. Well, it is now my main mode of transportation. Unfortunately, my shoulders and wrists are just as bad as my knees and hips. So I'm really only able to go anywhere when I have assistance. Obviously not ideal. Doing extensive research I have found that I can convert my mobile chair into a power chair with a special kit. These are available through a company on EBAY. I've seen them to for $800 to $900. My gofundme is set at $1000 to offset any additional costs. I've tried doing one of these before (to help get my website off the ground and for the power chair) but I was over ambitious and I'm sorry for that. I still want to do so much more with aspotforme.net and I know that once I'm more mobile, I will have the ability to do so. Thank you for your consideration. <3
