Hi All,

We at The Warehouse want to say thank you so much for the amazing support and generosity we have experienced with this campaign. The way people in and around Old Town have reached out and given to the fund is truly remarkable.

At this time, we will be pausing this website to all future donations. If you are still intersted in giving more, you can message us through the site and we can set up a way for you do to so.

Now is the time for us to pray for the family and wish them the best. We will always remember them and Jeremais in the best way.

Thank you all once again,
Meghan Schulze

Update: Thank you all so very much for your overwhelming generosity. It amazes us that in less than a week we have exceeded our campagn goal and all of our expectations. The funds that are raised through this site will go directly to the family of Jeremais in Guatemala. Because arragements have yet to be made for his transportation home, we ask you to bear with us as we navigate through the best course of action. Thank you again for your continued support, and for being the Extraordinary Alexandrians you are.

As many have heard, The Warehouse Bar and Grill in Old Town Alexandria lost Jeremais Herrera Rodriguez, hard working father, friend, and co-worker on Tuesday, August 2nd. Long-time Chef Sert Ruamthong remembers him fondly as his "right hand guy" and "the best I have."

We as a community would like to come together for his family both here and in his home country of Guatemala by easing some of the financial burden this tragedy brings. We have already seen an outpouring of love and sympathy, and we are so grateful to be apart of such an amazing suport system.

We will remember him, always.
